FRIENDS OF ASHDOWN FOREST EVENTS
Sunday 22nd April 2012 - A Bird Walk on Ashdown Forest 9.00 a.m. location to be decided. Members of the Ashdown Forest Bird Group will lead us as they point out birds that can be seen and heard that morning.
Thursday 24th May 2012 - An Investigation into the Forest Pale 2.30 p.m. in the Information Barn at the Forest Centre. Vivienne Blandford, landscape archaeologist, will bring us up to date with recent surveys of the Pale and other archaeological finds on the Forest.
Sunday 10th June 2012 - Field Walk in Pippingford Park 2.30 p.m. from Millbrook East Car Park. Another chance to see the wildlife, iron workings, pillow mounds and World War II earthworks. Places are limited to 25 for this walk.
Tuesday 26th June 2012 - A Nightjar Walk 8.30 p.m. location to be decided. A walk with members of the Ashdown Forest Bird Group.
Thursday 27th September 2012 - The Wildlife of Gardens and the Countryside 8.00 p.m. Nutley War Memorial Hall Arthur Hoare will give an illustrated talk about the wildlife in our gardens and the surrounding countryside.
